I am encouraged

Though few people in the States are certified practitioners of the Niel-Asher technique, one of them does happen to work in Philadelphia. I called and inquired about her rates, and whether she could accept my health insurance plan. Nope. “The problem is that the insurance plans don’t accept me,” she said, “because I’m not affiliated with an on-site MD.” Considering that full treatment would involve at least a half-dozen sessions at $100 per session, I faced the prospect of trading one type of pain for another when reaching into my back pocket for my wallet.

Fortunately, there are plenty of training materials to be found at Niel-Asher’s website. I opted for the CD-ROM, which recently arrived in the mail. It includes videos, diagrams, and everything necessary to begin a course of self-treatment. Except, of course, the all-important second person you need to knead your tender shoulder back to life.

I am lucky to have among my many talented and generous friends one who has just the right elbow for the job. Now that he has begun systematically working on my shoulder, I’m looking forward to being pain-free by spring, encouraged by Izzard’s testimonial: “My shoulder had been painful for many years! Now I can do semaphore with flags. Finally ships understand me.”

I had frozen shoulder in my left arm 3 years ago. Physical therapy made it worse. Another doctor suggested expaning the capsule with fluid. After an injection and a bill of over $1200, I was sent home to stretch the arm. I heard cracking sounds and had a bit more movement but the pain and stiffness was still there. Then I found the Neil-Asher technicque and bought the book online for about $50. It was amazing. After 6 weeks of treatment at home, 1x a week, (by my husband’s elbow, following the guidelines in the book), I was pain-free and had complete movement again.

About 4 months ago, my right arm started to hurt. I knew I was getting frozen shoulder again. We started the Neil-Asher treatment again in November, but this time, I couldn’t stand the pain and stoppped with the treatment around the beginning of January. It may have been because we were using too much pressure or perhaps because I was in the freezing stage, versus last time when it was frozen completely. Not sure. But the pain at night especially got so bad, I asked my husband to try it again, this time with a little less pressure. Yesterday was the first treatment since Jan and once again, my arm feels 100% better.

I swear by this technique. Also fYI, I am insulin-dependentdiabetic for 33 years. And I will tell you that you will feel nauseated after the treatment - maybe from the toxins released or the pain. But stick with it because it will greatly speed your healing process. You will see results immediately.
