we found the DVD super helpful
Hi, I've received the Self Help Kit, read through the materials, and my husband has given me 3 treatments so far. We have a question though, that isn't covered on the FAQ list. So I'm 46, was diagnosed with frozen shoulder by a orthopedic doctor about 1 month ago. I've had the symptoms since November, and I would say I'm somewhere between 1st phase and 2nd phase. My night pain has gone down a lot, but isn't quite gone. I had a massage therapist work on me twice before I received your self help kit and she basically worked the same trigger points, just not in the order that your technique does. I think that helped with the inflammation, along with icing it regularly. Anyway, I understand its normal to have some soreness after treatment, but I'm having pains down my whole arm now that I didn't have before. Wondering if he's over-doing it a bit maybe? The treatments hurt, but I'd say at around a 7 out of 10 and its very tolerable. Maybe I have a high pain threshold though (birthed my kids with no need for drugs, that kind of thing). We just want to be sure this is okay. I almost feel like its my arm "waking up" again kind of thing. The pains are not sharp, but dull and sort of random here and there. Also, today, after the third treatment last night, the back of my shoulder (step 2 point) is more sore than its been in awhile but I think the movement of the capsule is better. We found the DVD to be super helpful. I am so thankful that I found your website and technique. I didn't want to have the manipulation done, and was desperate for an alternative. I understand that my shoulder may take more sessions since I haven't had the frozen shoulder for for very long. One other question that brings up....I have to travel for work for 2 weeks (I'll have had around 6 sessions by then), so I won't receive any treatments while I'm travelling. I'll continue the excersizes and stretches, but do you think this will be a set back? Thanks so much for your help! Amy Hadjian
